CareerPilot AI is operated by Framesinmotion ("Framesinmotion", "we", "us"). Framesinmotion is the data controller for personal data processed through the CareerPilot AI website and application.

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials or OAuth identifier (for example Google sign-in).
• Career profile data you provide — college, year, branch, target role, experience level, skills, GitHub username, LinkedIn URL.
• Content you submit — mentor chat messages, help desk messages, resumes you upload, mock interview answers, roadmap progress and mentor requests.
• Usage and telemetry — features used, AI actions consumed, timestamps, and error logs.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser identifiers, and cookie identifiers.
• Support and communication data — messages you send to us and notification preferences.

Payment card details are never collected or stored by us. Checkout and billing are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

• Create and operate your account, and provide the service (AI mentors, resume reviews, mock interviews, roadmaps, mentor matching) — performance of our contract with you.
• Process your subscription and enforce usage limits — performance of our contract with you.
• Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection — our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.
• Product improvement, analytics and debugging — our legitimate interest in improving the service.
• Customer support and service notifications — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting users.
• Marketing emails, where offered — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
• Legal, tax and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.

Content you submit to AI features (chat messages, resume text, interview answers, GitHub username) is sent to our AI model providers to generate a response. We do not sell this content, and we do not use it to identify you to third parties. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not professional career, legal, financial or immigration advice — always review them before acting.

• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com Market Ltd, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, invoicing, subscription management and tax compliance.
• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting and database providers, AI model providers, email delivery, error monitoring and analytics tooling.
• Human mentors — where you send a mentor request, the mentor you selected receives the information needed to respond to you.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting and audit advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside India, the UK and the EEA. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

We keep account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Chat threads, resumes, interviews and roadmaps are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Transaction and tax records are kept for as long as required by law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. UK and EEA users have these rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR, and we aim to respond within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, restricted administrative access and hosted infrastructure with security monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. Where analytics or marketing cookies are used, they are optional and you can manage them through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from working.

CareerPilot AI is intended for users aged 16 and above (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the "last updated" date above will change.
